Whitehouse NJ Paving Company

Around 1750, Abraham Van Horne built a white plastered wall tavern on the Rockaway Creek where the Jersey Turnpike crossed (this is now the corner of Washington Street and U.S. Route 22). The tavern began to be referred to as the “White House” by travellers. The village, which sprang up to the east of the tavern also carried this name. Stones from the original tavern can be seen along the retaining wall of the Daughters of the American Revolution cemetery, where the tavern once stood.  From sealing your home’s asphalt driveways to overlaying old parking lots with new asphalt, you can always trust Henry’s Asphalt Paving Co. to satisfy all your residential and commercial paving needs. We have been serving Whitehouse, NJ and surrounding communities in Readington Township since 1956.  Our primary service areas include Warren, Hunterdon, Morris, and Somerset Counties, but our large inventory of paving equipment and long-term relationships with our commercial clients and franchises allow us to efficiently service the entire tri-state area.
